Jennifer Foster
Jennifer Foster is the host of Classical Public Radio WDAV’s weekday midday show. She is also a producer of several of WDAV’s weekly shows, including Artist Spotlight, Saturday Night of Song and Choral Showcase. Foster’s voice is regularly heard in commercials for television, radio, the Web and movie theaters.
Jennifer’s love for music and interest in audio is far-reaching. She is an innovative producer with a penchant for creating audio sculpture and experimental pieces. Her most recent work, The Interview: When Words Fail, was premiered at the Baltimore Contemporary Museum in January, 2009 for the exhibit, More Than Words: Innovative Uses of the Human Voice.
A native of Virginia, Jennifer holds a degree from the Translation Institute in Vienna, Austria and a B.A. in German from Davidson College.
